Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor went through a cheating scandal in early 2017 and months later, Taylor decided to end their relationship completely. However, despite their hard year, the couple ended up back together by the end of 2017 and when the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion was filmed months later, they were by one another's side.

Although Cartwright is responsible for making her own decisions, many fans and followers of the series have slammed her for allowing Taylor to treat her so poorly by cheating on her with Faith Stowers and dumping her.

They've also accused her of being desperate and some have even wondered if she's agreed to get back together with Taylor only in an effort to stay famous.

As the backlash continues on Twitter and Instagram, Brittany Cartwright is looking back on her relationship with Taylor. "It’s so crazy that three years ago I met [Jax Taylor] in Las Vegas. Never would I have imagined my life to be like it is today," she wrote on May 7. "We definitely have our ups and downs, but today we are happier than ever. I know people are skeptical and think I’m [crazy] for sticking around but I know I did the right thing for me."

Cartwright continued on, telling fans that she hopes they will see that she and Taylor have been through a lot as they watch the first part of the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion.

As she explained, she and Taylor have endured trying times that have made them stronger and made them grow in their relationship.

"People can change and love can win," she added.

Ever since "Vanderpump Rules" season four, Cartwright has made it quite clear that she wants to get married and have a family one day soon.

However, as fans have seen on the show, Taylor has been back and forth on the issue. On one hand, he's said that he would like to settle down, but at the same time, the longtime reality star has exhibited behavior that is most definitely not consistent with someone who aims to be a good husband.
