Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is still lying unconscious at the hospital. He was in a coma and woke up for a moment but he had to undergo an emergency surgery to stop the bleeding in his brain. This week on “The Young and the Restless,” Victor’s health will take a surprising turn. Spoilers tease that his health will deteriorate fast, which will put him on life support.

Nikki wants to make decisions for Victor

As her husband remains comatose, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will consider pulling the plug on Victor’s life support. He may have done many evil things, even to his own family members, but his family still loves him and will hate to see him go.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say that his children, Nick (Joshua Morrow), Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will all come together and stand beside Victor’s hospital bed and talk about how to deal with this crisis.

Victoria makes a positive move

Meanwhile, JT (Thad Luckinbill) is rushing to marry Victoria while Victor remains unconscious. He has agreed to Mac’s (Kelly Kruger) custody terms to fast-track their divorce.

Mac has agreed to sign the papers once they are drawn out, although she is worried about Victoria. Mac wants JT to admit to his abusive behavior, which Victoria already had a taste of in their recent fight.

However, Victoria has received enough warning to make her reconsider being together with JT. On Monday’s episode, she told JT that she could not marry him, via Soaps.com.

This is expected to make JT more frustrated, as things are already not working in his favor.

He will receive a reality check courtesy of his ex-wife Mac. Meanwhile, Victoria will listen to Sharon’s advice about getting professional help. She and JT will undergo relationship counseling.

However, JT still has hidden motives. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers suggest that he will try to kill Victor.

Otherwise, it would be the end of him when Victor awakens and reveals that it was JT who pushed him down the stairs. But his plans may not work out, and later this week, JT will be cornered. Spoilers add that he will feel desperate and take drastic measures.

Jack still in prison

Elsewhere, someone else is paying for JT’s crime. Jack (Peter Bergman) has been arrested for the attempted murder of Victor, and he sees no immediate help in sight. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) promised to help him, and Billy (Jason Thompson) hired an investigator to help find the truth and free Jack. Jack fears that he will be convicted of a crime he did not commit.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
