Coming up on “The Young and the Restless,” Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is arrested for assaulting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Of course, viewers know that J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) is the one who did it to Victor, shoving him down the stairs and putting him in a coma. But proving his innocence could be just one of the many things Jack has to deal with in the coming weeks.

Jack confronts Kyle

Jack’s prodigal son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), is finally back in town. Kyle visits Victor at the hospital because he has to see it for himself that Victor is indeed in critical condition.

He pities that he is lying down there and says he should wake up, otherwise, he misses all the fun, according to Soaps.com.

Kyle then arrives at the reunion event at the Walnut Grove. When his father sees him, Jack immediately confronts Kyle about communicating with Victor. Kyle is betraying him and the Abbott family by working with Victor, an enemy. Kyle tries to avoid Jack, but his father is persistent. Their confrontation is interrupted when Paul (Doug Davidson) arrives at the scene and arrests Jack. Paul is taking Jack into custody for assaulting Victor.

Jabot faces a crisis

Meanwhile, more trouble is about to come to Jack. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Jack’s world will be rocked, and Jabot will face a crisis.

Being arrested for a crime he did not do is just one of his concerns. He does not know yet that his paternity is already in question.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) are collecting samples of his DNA to test. They want to know the truth after Dina (Marla Adams) spilled a shocking secret that Jack is not John’s son.

With her Alzheimer’s disease, it could be just a trick of her mind, but it could be the truth as well. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Ashley will wrestle with a painful secret in the coming weeks. If Jack is not an Abbott, his claim as the heir of Jabot will surely be at risk.

Victor wakes up

Meanwhile, Victor wakes up from a coma at the hospital after Ashley asked him to give her a sign that Jack is innocent.

Will he reveal that it was not Jack who shoved him off the stairs? Or would he even remember what happened to him? He is scheming with Kyle, so he might take this opportunity to make Jack look guilty and deal with J.T. in another manner. Now that Kyle is back in Genoa City, he sure has some tricks up his sleeves against his father.

Watch the drama unfold on “The Young and the Restless” Mondays to Fridays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
