Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd have come a long way since they first clashed on "The Real Housewives Of Orange County." The two detested one another and hurled some harsh insults at each other, but they've seemingly overcome all of that. It's amazing what divorce can do. This pair has found joy together in the aftermath of getting out of miserable marriages.
Happy and laughing
"Having some fun with this gal @rhoc_kellydodd! ❤️ #tonsoflaughs #rhoc," Shannon Beador captioned the photo of her and Dodd together.
Shannon and Kelly are smiling big into the camera.
Shannon actually looks genuinely happy and fans are happy for her. Some also commented that they're glad to see these "RHOC" stars joining together as friends after what they've been through. Will season 13 entail any drama between the two or will they stay friends on-camera? Not much has come out in the way of spoilers yet for the show, which doesn't air until later this summer.
Shannon not hung up on ex
Shannon Beador doesn't seem hung up on her ex-husband, David Beador. She was heartbroken when their marriage started to crumble in season 12. He's moving on with another woman and it doesn't appear to be getting in Shannon's way of moving on herself. She's been showcasing other activities in her life, such as launching her new line of products on QVC.
She's also spending a lot of time with her three daughters and is in the middle of taping season 13 of "RHOC."
Kelly unloads husband and moves on
Kelly Dodd was more than ready to split from her husband, Michael Dodd. The two had been fighting for years. Their on-air squabbles proved how at odds they were together, but they stayed together despite all of that.
Kelly announced last September that they were getting divorced. It was finalized in February and now she's moving on.
Both women still interact with their exes for the sake of their children, however. Regardless of their differences, the ex-husbands still want to be in their daughters' lives.
A new sisterhood
As a March 6 report by Bravo revealed, Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd hung out at L.A.
hotspot, Craigs. Shannon wrote in an Instagram post that they were "two single gals in L.A." Shannon even once dubbed their newfound friendship as "#sistersinourjourney" following their respective divorces.
Will their budding friendship continue in season 13? Fans are eager to see if their bond will withstand the drama and feuds that are pinnacles of the reality show. They may very well become allies against Vicki Gunvalson or some of the other cast members.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 13 will air later this summer on Bravo.
