Could Vicki Gunvalson, the longest-running "Real Housewife" of all time, really be considering walking away from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" ahead of Season 13? According to a new report, the Season 12 reunion special took a major toll on Gunvalson and when it comes to a Season 13 return, she could walk away completely or take on a lesser role on the Bravo TV reality series.
"'The Real Housewives of Orange County' reunion was extremely emotional because [Vicki Gunvalson] warned the [cast] that she is stepping down next season,” an insider told Page Six on Dec.
6. As the source explained, Gunvalson's alleged announcement led Bravo TV to begin casting for new women to appear on the upcoming season of the show. However, Gunvalson allegedly said that she wouldn't come back to the show at all if there is a new cast for Season 13.
Surprisingly, the report regarding Vicki Gunvalson's possible exit from the show comes just months after she was linked to rumors of a possible "Real Housewives of Orange County" spinoff series.

While filming on the new season isn't set to begin for another few months, Page Six said that the franchise was thinking about bringing new ladies to the show and asking around for possible additions.
The outlet also said that Tamra Judge may exit the show and noted her estrangement from daughter Sidney Barney as the reason behind her potential exit.
Vicki Gunvalson has been a full-time cast member for 12 seasons
Even viewers who aren't a fan of Vicki Gunvalson likely can't imagine "The Real Housewives of Orange County" without her.
After all, she has been featured on the show in a full-time role since it began in 2007. She's also been seen in a number of different relationships, including her latest romance with boyfriend Steve Lodge.
When fans first met Vicki Gunvalson on the Bravo TV reality series, she was married to Donn Gunvalson, and years later, they renewed their vows.
Unfortunately, in the years that followed, Gunvalson and her now-ex-husband parted ways and she began dating the controversial Brooks Ayers, who was accused of lying about a cancer diagnosis. Following her fling with Ayers, Gunvalson moved on with Lodge and after about a year and a half of dating, the couple appears to be going strong.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" Season 13 will air on Bravo TV sometime next year.
