2018 is shaping up to be a Big Year for movies with the releases of "Black Panther," which has shattered many records, along with movies "Ready Player One," and the video game franchise "Tomb Raider" even getting its very own film. There are more terrific movies on the way this summer, and here are the 5 most anticipated summer blockbusters.

'Ant-Man And The Wasp'

Paul Rudd will reprise his role as the unique hero with the ability to shrink or grow in size and control ants. There are no exact plot details as of now, however, this film is highly anticipated after the huge success of the first film -- filled with a good mix of comedy and action.

The film brought a different kind of hero to life and one that many have been waiting to see on the big screen. The sequel will be out on July 6.

'Deadpool 2'

The so-called conflicted hero will be arriving in theaters on May 18, and most likely again with a witty attitude. In this sequel, we will see Cable and the talented Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as the skilled assassin in the action movie filled with violence, but also with comic relief.

'The Incredibles 2'

The first movie was a massive success behind a comedic plotline, intriguing heroes, and a lovable family. The sequel is sure to not disappoint, as this time around, the baby has superpowers. Mr. Incredible is trying to balance his family life and take down the villain or villains.

The movie is slated to arrive on June 15.

'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom'

This film is coming out on June 22. Everything seems to go wrong with the humans in various films. Now, Chris Pratt is the protagonist and will reprise his role in the franchise. Den Of Geek even predicts that "Even considering the competition it's up against, this may be the film to beat at the box office."

'Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation'

This movie is sure to be big with families as the first two films were funny and had interesting characters.

According to an article written by Den of Geek: "Adam Sandler is not writing this one, but leads the voice cast again, along with Selena Gomez and Andy Samberg. The last film grossed $478 million worldwide."

And it has been so successful that the site even predicts that it "should break half a million. It's turning into one of the biggest, active animated movie franchises on the planet." This film will arrive in theaters on July 13.
