Fans of "The Young and the Restless" rooted for Lily and Cane to reunite and to see her come to be a mother to baby, Sam. Instead of being a good mother and wife, however, Mrs. Ashby is about to take a walk on the dark side. Spoiler alerts say that her hatred of Hilary is going to get the best of her and Lily will seek a way to get revenge. She absolutely does not want Devon to have a baby with his former wife and is going to find a way to put a stop to it. Last week she overheard a conversation that Hilary had regarding invitro-fertilization and now Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that she might just switch the sperm sample.

Lily can't let go of Hilary's past

Lily had been tolerating Hilary while Cane had actually formed a friendship with her even allowing her to spend time with baby Sam. Once the truth came out, that she knew all along Cane had not sexually harassed Juliet, all of that changed. Hilary was banned from seeing the child and the Ashby's wanted nothing more to do with her. Once Devon agreed to be Hilary's sperm donor, Lily seethed.

Celeb Dirty Laundry has no information, yet, on how far Devon's sister will go to save him from the clutches of his ex-wife. The spoilers suspect that it will be a sperm swap and that seems most likely. Things could, however, go in another direction. Hilary may become pregnant and Lily might do something to make her lose the baby.

Either way, fans probably will not like seeing Mrs. Ashby go in this dark direction. This animosity is so out of character that Lily needs to let go of the past and move on with her family.

Hilary and Devon might make a baby the old-fashioned way

Last week Devon joked for a moment that they might make a baby the old-fashioned way and "Y&R" viewers should not rule that possibility out. Hilary and her ex-husband still love each other and the chemistry between them is strong.

The more time they spend together it is logical that they may fall into each other's arms again.This would really upset Lily and probably push her right over the edge.

Whatever she does, it will cause a rift in the Winters/Hamilton family and maybe even impact her marriage. Lily could come away from this looking worse than her former sister-in-law ever did. Her actions may even change the way fans feel about her.
