'Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Leaked script reveals Victor is assaulted

Bell was watching "American Idol" when she shared her Instagram story. She joked on Instagram that the reality show was distracting her from studying her "Y&R" script. She then shared an image that appeared to be the script for "Young and the Restless" scenes scheduled for filming this week. Although she obscured part of the script with a comment written over the image, fans could still read sections of the script and obtain a sneak peek of action to expect in a few weeks. The leaked script reveals Genoa City police chief Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Lauralee Bell's character, Christine "Cricket" Blair Williams, discussing the evidence obtained from blood found at a crime scene on the Newman ranch.

Victor Newman assaulted, rushed to the hospital

Paul says in the leaked script that tests prove the blood found at the crime scene was not Victor Newman's (Eric Braeden) or Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman). Paul also adds that DNA tests conducted on all Newman ranch employees did not yield a match. The script shows clearly that Victor survived an assault and that GCPD is investigating to identify the perpetrator. The sneak peek offered by Bell comes soon after Eric Braeden, who plays Victor, was reportedly seen on set wearing a hospital gown. This ties in with information from Bell's leaked script and indicates that the assault lands him in hospital.

Will Jack Abbott assault Victor Newman?

Victor’s old enemy Jack is one of the suspects.

The fact that the blood did not match Jack's does not clear him. It could simply mean that he did not bleed at the crime scene. He could also have hired someone to attack Victor. Victor and Jack have a long-running feud. Emotions could easily have boiled over during a confrontation between Jack and Victor over a number of issues. Ashley going over to Newman Enterprises could have driven Jack to the brink. Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) scheming in concert with Jack to oust Ashley from Newman could also have led to trouble. "Young and the Restless" spoilers from Soap Central hint that Victor tries to revenge against Jack for plotting with Victoria against Ashley. This could lead to a confrontation in which Jack attacks Victor.

Is JT Hellstrom the perpetrator?

However, the culprit might not be Jack. Another possible perpetrator is JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). JT has lately been showing signs of worsening emotional instability. He was angry when he learned that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) used him to set up Ashley. His relationship with Victor has also been lately tense.

Is Arturo the attacker?

Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday (March 14) also state that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) gets caught, according to SheKnows Soaps. This very likely refers to her affair with Arturo (Jason Canela). If Victor discovers Nikki's affair with Arturo it could lead to a confrontation that ends with Arturo attacking Victor.
