The latest updates and spoilers for "The Flash" Season 4 reveal new details about the mysterious female character in the show portrayed by Jessica Parker Kennedy. The unnamed woman was first seen in the "Crisis on Earth X" crossover as comic book fans and tv audiences have been wondering who she really is, and what is her connection to Barry Allen, Iris West, and the rest of Team Flash.

Executive producer Todd Helbing told TVGuide the fan theories about her possible identity are wrong and they have not yet come in close to solve the mystery behind it. The Cw Network also announced the casting of three metahumans for the show.

Mysterious girl's identity revealed?

According to Todd Helbing, fans have yet to solve the mystery behind Kennedy's character and he doubts that everybody could guess it correctly. The latter also compared the mystery to past storylines and it could be one of the most challenging, yet fun puzzles in the show.

"Every year there's theories all over the place on what we're doing and some of them get pretty close," Helbing said.

"Some of them hit like one part of it but they don't get other parts, so it's fun to read."

One popular theory about the mysterious female character is that she could be Barry and Iris's daughter, Dawn West, as she is familiar with everyone on Team Flash and suddenly show's up whenever they are at Gitters. She also talks very fast and she gets emotional whenever she is around Barry or Iris.

The girl could also be a speedster as she seen writing Speed Force equations similar to Barry when he returns to Central City. For now, her role in the show is still unknown and her presence could be a factor in defeating season 4's main villain, Clifford DeVoe.

New metahumans coming soon
