Celeb Dirty Laundry is addressing the pink elephant in the room that is troubling many fans of "The Young and the Restless." Spoilers acknowledge that viewers have been cheated out of the Adam Newman return that has been suggested, teased, and hinted at for more than 18 months. They also address the many questions that remain unanswered and the closure that should have taken place before Chelsea left genoa city.

There is no guarantee, however, that any of the open-ended situations will ever be dealt with as another daytime drama, General Hospital, has also simply ignored storylines that should have been taken care of.

Y&R and General Hospital have cheated fans

Celeb Dirty Laundry points out that there has been no closure on "The Young and the Restless" regarding how Adam died, and neither Victor nor Chloe have had to pay for their role in the explosion. "General Hospital" did the same thing with the alleged death of Nicholas Cassidine. There were rumors and spoilers insisting that Tyler Christopher was going to reprise his role as the Cassadine prince but it never happened.

In addition, several storylines surrounding this character were dropped and never received closure. Nicholas hired someone to shoot Hayden, but Shawn was charged with the crime and has been sitting in jail ever since. Hayden left town knowing that it was her husband who tried to kill her and never said a word. Fans were cheated out of seeing Nicholas pay for his crimes and Shawn released from prison. Now "Y&R" is following suit by not completing storylines surrounding Genoa City residents and bringing Adam back to town.

"Y&R" has too many open-ended storylines

Spoilers point out that it has still not been confirmed, with any certainty, that Adam Newman actually died in the explosion. For over 18 months now, the residents of Genoa City have had no idea about the deal Victor and Chloe made, or that he helped her fake her own death.

No one, except Chelsea, knows that Victor already was aware that Christian is Adam's son. Celeb Dirty Laundry says that "The Young and the Restless" has too many storylines that need closure and the biggest one revolves around Adam.

Fans have counted on to the constant spoilers, as well as innuendo coming from "Y&R" characters, that gave hope that Adam Newman was not dead. Chelsea was supposed to have seen her husband in New Orleans, at Thanksgiving, when she went with Nick, Billy, and Phyllis. Instead, the two couples returned to Genoa City saying that what they did in the Crescent City would stay there. Recently Billy told Phyllis that Nick was straight-laced, which seems to imply that something sexual may have taken place but again there has bee no closure. The fans deserve some of these loose ends tied up so stay tuned for more updates to find out what happens next.
