Scheana Marie throws Brittany under the bus, says she knew she was being set up

Brittany Cartwright will be seen in quite the predicament during the upcoming episode of "Vanderpump Rules" after her supposed friend scheana marie decides to tell her boyfriend, jax taylor, that Cartwright knew why she was joining Scheana and their fellow SUR employee, Adam Spott, at dinner. In a sneak peek at next week's episode of the show, Taylor is seen speaking to Cartwright about something James Kennedy had brought to his attention.

"So [James Kennedy] pulled me aside and said, 'Listen, Scheana is trying to hook Brittany up with Adam from work' and I'm like, 'What?'" Taylor tells his girlfriend in the clip.

Then, in a later scene, Scheana Marie is seen telling Taylor and their co-star, Tom Sandoval, that Cartwright "knew why she was coming out" with her and Spott. "So [Brittany Cartwright] knew it was a date?" Taylor asks her, before storming out of the club where the conversation happened.

During last week's show, Cartwright joined Spott and a few others for what was supposed to be a group dinner date meant to show Cartwright that she was still "hot." As "Vanderpump Rules" fans saw, Scheana spoke frequently about Spott and how he had a crush on Cartwright and said she wanted to remind Cartwright that people other than Taylor found her attractive.

While Scheana Marie's behavior would have made sense if Cartwright had split from Taylor after he cheated, she and Taylor were in a completely committed relationship at the time.

It should also be mentioned that Scheana had told Kristen Doute that she planned to mess with Cartwright and Taylor's relationship to get revenge on Taylor.

Shouldn't Scheana have respected her friend Cartwright's relationship instead of trying to get back at Taylor? Shouldn't her friendship with Cartwright have meant more to her than stirring the pot with Taylor?

Apparently, it didn't. However, luckily for Scheana, Cartwright didn't seem to mind her meddling and has remained civil with her since filming.

Cartwright may be friends with Scheana but that doesn't mean she's steering clear of her on-screen nemeses, including Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney.

In fact, she's quite close to all three of the women and appeared alongside Schroeder on Monday's "Watch What Happens Live."
