Fans of the famous power couple got some very happy and unexpected news this Monday morning. Earlier this morning, TicketMaster and Beyoncé's own Facebook page both announced a joint tour date for Beyoncé and hubby Jay-Z. The briefly announced "On the Run 2" concert date will take place on July 30, 2018 in Philadephia, PA at Lincoln Financial Field. According to the post, tickets are set to go on sale via TicketMaster next Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10 a.m.

However, very quickly after it was posted, the announced tour date was taken down

According to Variety, the post has since been retracted off of both official Facebook pages. But not before plenty of fans had time to screenshot the post, which can be seen in an article from Complex online. This leaves fans questioning whether or not this legendary concert will actually take place. Was it accidentally leaked or was it just a false date to begin with? Is a more official tour announcement coming? We all want answers.

The couple last toured together 5 years ago for 2013's 'On the Run' tour

Ever since then fans have been hoping it would happen again.

The timing for this tour would prove to be perfect after both parties have released very successful albums in the years since their last joint tour: Beyoncé's "Lemonade" (the viral visual album that came out during those Jay-Z cheating rumors) and Jay Z's album "4:44," where the two collaborated on the song "Family Feud" together, which is also a song that is loosely alluding to Jay-Z's famous infidelities.

The couple also collaborated on DJ Khaled's single "Top Off," released just a few days ago. So it is no secret that the couple has been very busy in the studio as of late.

Beyoncé has also recently been posting about her performance preparation and vegan diet restrictions for her upcoming Coachella 2018 performance in April, which was postponed from 2017 after her pregnancy announcement.

Is she also secretly preparing for the 'On the Run 2' tour as well?

Unfortunately, fans are still in the dark as of now and there has been no further statements from Beyoncé's official page, her representatives, or TicketMaster. So Queen Bey and Jay-Z fans, be on the lookout for more information regarding this mystery concert and save up your money just in case because if this is for real, it will be an event you will not want to miss! It looks like fans will be obsessively refreshing Beyoncé's Facebook page until more news is released.
