Arie was actually arrested for driving under a suspended license.
This was a while ago, but now that he is in the public eye everyone is talking about it once again. This arrest happened back in October of 2008 while in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is where he lives. Arie didn't just get arrested, but he also got multiple tickets. They were for multiple traffic violations, including speeding, failure to obey a traffic signal, unsafe lane changing and for failing to provide proof of insurance.
The fans are a bit curious why he had a suspended license or what was going on, but that part hasn't been revealed. Arie doesn't have anything to say at all about it all, though.
Arie didn't serve jail time for this arrest, but it is on his record. When you go on reality television, of course, that is going to come out once again.
Everyone is going to be looking into his past as much as they can and find out any information on him they can. Hopefully, this is the only thing in Arie's past that he has to worry about people finding out now.
How is 'The Bachelor' now?
Arie Luyendyk Jr. was just on "The Bachelor" and found love, but things were a bit crazy for him.
Arie picked Becca at first and then moved on to be with Lauren. Now they are doing great. It looks like he has found love, but that won't stop people from giving him a hard time about it and the way that he chose to do it. He does feel like the way that they shared the unedited version of the split wasn't really fair to him.
They let everyone see the split the way it happened with the cameras rolling. Then he went and told Lauren that he wanted to be with her and now the two are engaged.
