Could Catelynn Lowell be missing when her co-stars, including Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham, return to New York City to film the reunion special for "Teen Mom OG" season seven? According to a new report, an absent Lowell is a very real possibility for the upcoming taping.

“The reunion will be filming the first weekend in March for two days,” an insider told Us Weekly magazine on Sunday, Feb. 12. “The reunions are always extremely emotional and grueling.” Because Catelynn Lowell's mental health is so fragile these days, filming the "Teen Mom OG" special may not be the best thing for her.

As the insider explained, hopping on a plane and traveling to face-off with her co-stars and deal with the recent events of season seven, including her rumored miscarriage, would likely not be the best plan for her. As for who will make the final decision, the source added that Lowell's treatment team would determine if she is ready for the event or not after her treatment at their facility is complete.

Catelynn Lowell has been in and out of rehab in recent weeks

In November, the "Teen Mom OG" star confirmed she was suffering from suicidal thoughts and planning to go to rehab. However, the following month, as her husband Tyler Baltierra prepared to celebrate the holidays with their daughter, Novalee Reign, three-years-old, Lowell returned to their home in Michigan.

While Lowell's audience believed her treatment was complete at that time, the reality star returned to treatment just over two weeks later and in the weeks since she has been in and out at least once.

Catelynn Lowell previously traveled to rehab in 2015 after suffering from a bout with postpartum depression after her daughter's January 2015 birth.

Luckily, despite her ongoing struggles, Lowell has had the ongoing support of her husband. That said, Lowell's absence has been quite hard on Baltierra and their young daughter.

Tyler Baltierra opens up about his own struggles

“It’s difficult when Nova cries out for [Catelynn Lowell] [and] I have to keep explaining why she’s not here to hug her tears away!” Tyler Baltierra tweeted last week.

He then admitted that while he has good days where he is strong, he also has bad days. Baltierra also posted an additional message to his fans and followers in the form of a video on his Instagram page several days ago.

"Teen Mom OG" season seven airs on MTV this and every Monday night at 9 PM.
