Kailyn Lowry's co-star, David Eason, was fired from "Teen Mom 2" earlier this week and now, his wife Jenelle Evans is said to be in jeopardy of getting the axe as well. Although Lowry appears to be in good standings with MTV at the moment, she may be ready to move on from the long-running series with a show of her own and she may be bringing one of her close friends along.

“[Kailyn Lowry] and her 'Coffee and Convos' co-host Lindsie Chrisley are in talks for their own show,” a source told Radar Online on February 23. “They have been approached by several networks already.” According to the report, the series will feature Lowry and Chrisley's lives as working moms, reality stars, and podcast hosts as they attempt to make their many projects and brands a success.

Is MTV cleaning house with their 'Teen Mom 2' cast?

The idea for Lowry and Chrisley's show first began swirling after the longtime reality star filmed their podcast for "Teen Mom 2." As fans may know, Lowry and her co-stars were in production on the new installment of the series up until Eason's homophobic rant on Twitter led to an alleged casting dilemma. As Radar Online explained, the entire series is said to be up in the air as MTV reportedly considers getting rid of their longtime star Jenelle Evans. The outlet also said that while they are still going to film for the show, some of the footage they are taking may not actually make it to air.

Advertisers are already calling it quits with 'Teen Mom 2'

In the light of David Eason's homophobic tweets days ago, Nutro Company and Caesar Cuisine have both confirmed that they will no longer be airing ads during "Teen Mom 2." The Ashley's Reality Roundup confirmed this news with their readers on February 21.

Kailyn Lowry and her family has been featured on MTV for nearly a decade and as the series continues, she remains on the public eye.

However, when it comes to her relationship with her co-stars, their friendship have been ever changing. For instance, while Lowry was once quite close to Jenelle Evans, she and her co-star are no longer on speaking terms and after Eason was fired from the show, Lowry spoke out against his shocking comments on Twitter and said she was happy to see MTV make the right decision and give him the boot.

Kailyn Lowry and the "Teen Mom 2" cast, including Chelsea Houska, Briana DeJesus, Leah Messer, and Jenelle Evans, began production on the new season last year.
