Stassi Schroeder and patrick meagher got back together in 2017 after spending several months apart and according to a new report, their relationship was bound to fail. Months after the couple called it quits, a source spoke out against the radio host, claiming that Meagher only agreed to give his relationship with Schroeder another shot in an effort to give his radio show a boost in ratings.

“[Patrick Meagher] was only back together with [Stassi Schroeder] and on ['Vanderpump Rules'] for ratings for his radio show,” an insider told Page Six on Tuesday, February 13.

As the insider explained, Meagher allegedly told his friends that he was in need of a boost for his show and never intended to stay with the reality star for long.

After previously claiming that he did not want to be involved with "Vanderpump Rules" at all, Meagher began filming scenes for the sixth season of the Bravo TV reality show last summer. In the weeks that followed, Meagher and Schroeder's storyline was hit with a feud due to a solo trip to Amsterdam that he had taken prior to the start of filming. Schroeder and Meagher also butted heads before her birthday celebration and during the event, Schroeder told her friends and co-stars that Meagher being there stressed her out.

She also admitted to binging on Adderall and tequila before storming out of the bash.

Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher dated on and off for four years but shortly after he joined the show, they called it quits for good and Schroeder quickly confirmed the news with listeners of her podcast, "Straight Up With Stassi." In August, Schroeder told her audience that her ex-boyfriend forgot their anniversary and got her nothing.

According to Page Six, Meagher appears to be single after splitting from Schroeder last year and has continued to host “The Rap” on Sirius XM. Meanwhile, during an episode of "Watch What Happens Live" earlier this week, Schroeder confirmed to host Andy Cohen that she is now involved in a new romance.

That said, Schroeder didn't reveal any details about her new man during the broadcast and has yet to share any images of the mystery guy on her social media pages.
