If you own the video game “Fortnite: Battle Royale,” it is going to be a good day for you, as if you own the game on the PlayStation Plus, you will receive a free new skin. This free new skin appeared in a brand new bundle which debuted in the Playstation Store today (Feb. 14), and the bundle is called the “PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack.” It is worth mentioning that not only does this pack include a brand new skin, but also a glider as well. These items can not be purchased, and you are only able to claim them if you are again a "Fortnite: Battle Royale" PlayStation Plus member.
How are you able to claim this pack?
To be able to download and install this free “Fortnite: Battle Royale” PlayStation Plus pack you first of all have to go to the PlayStation Store. Once you are at the PlayStation Store, go to the search bar and type “Fortnite: Battle Royale: PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack.” Then the package should appear on your screen, however, if it doesn’t appear on your screen go onto the video game’s official page and then you can look it up under add-ons. In case you still find it difficult to follow those instructions, I have attached a YouTube video below of a person walking through step by step how to get yourself this free pack. However, another way to access this video game package is by simply going to the PlayStation Store with your mobile or desktop device, and you are able to download it from there.
This may be the easiest way to download it for some people, as they don't even need to turn on their console and they can do it just on their mobile phones as long as they have an internet connection.
What else is there to know about this new pack?
As mentioned above, this pack is only available to PlayStation Plus subscribers, but these gamers only have a limited amount of time to claim this pack.
This pack will expire on February 1, 2019, so don’t worry, you have plenty of time to get your skin and glider. There is some other great news regarding this “Fortnite: Battle Royale” pack, and that is even if you own the game on the PlayStation Plus but play it on a different device, you can still use the pack on the different device.
The only way this works is if your Sony account is linked up to your Epic Games’ services, and if it is, it will unlock the pack for other devices. No matter, what you think of the skin, it is free, and remember, free stuff is rarely a bad thing when it comes to Video Games. This is also obviously not the first update for this game, as it recently added a new city and a legendary consumable as well.
