Kirstie Alley is ready for anything that 2018 has to throw at her, even the latest Doomsday prediction is something she has prepared for. Alley reportedly believes it is better to be safe than sorry, even when it comes to tempting fate. HND reports that Kirstie Alley doesn't want to leave anything to chance should the latest doomsday predictions be accurate.

Better safe than sorry?

Kirstie Alley has prepared for such an emergency. The former "Cheers" star has a plan in motion and a well-stocked bunker loaded with food and necessities for such a disaster.

Alley, who is a practicing Scientologist, has made sure she has all her favorite things in her shelter including her favorite foods. The disaster shelter is said to be located 120 miles east of Los Angeles. So what is in Kirstie's bunker?

Celebrity bunkers

If the reports hold an ounce of truth then in light of a world disaster Kirstie will be dining on Jenny Craig frozen meals, of course. However, should she lose power, the star has made sure to include plenty of canned goods, cereal, and pasta among her must have doomsday food supplies. Odd as it may sound, Kirstie is not the only celebrity to share her Scientology doomsday beliefs. Other big name stars who also reportedly have emergency shelters near Kirstie include John Travolta, Will Smith and Jada Pinket, and Tom Cruise.

Latest doomsday date revealed

When is the next doomsday prediction? Numerous dates for the world's end have come and gone since the beginning of recorded history. However, the next date that doomsday fearers are said to be preparing for is June 24, 2018. Conspiracy theorist Mathieu Jean-Marc Joseph Rodrigue claims he has deciphered the end of the world date and it is scheduled for this June.

Rodrigue claims he has based his prediction on a passage in the Book of Revelations that reads, "He was given authority to act for 42 months. He reveals he has come to this conclusion "by taking the 666 figure and adding it to his earlier calculations, with the 42 months from the bible." When all the figures are added together, he believes this indicates the world will end on June 24, 2018.

What should we do this time?

One thing is missing from his prediction, he does not reveal what form he thinks the world's end will take. Should we worry? Not according to scientists and millions of others, who do not believe Rodrigue's hyped up claims. Many a doomsday has come and gone. So, it is very likely the world will all awake on June 24, and go about our regularly scheduled routines.

Will the end of the world ever come? Yes, but there is no way of successfully predicting when and how that time will arrive. When the day does arrive, it is believed that no matter how prepared you believe you are, all the hoarded food and supplies likely will not make a difference.

What can we do? Live your lives the fullest every day. Tomorrow is never really promised to anyone. What are your thoughts on the doomsday prediction for June 24, 2018? Are you worried?
