jill zarin and Bethenny Frankel's January reunion sparked major rumors of a return to "The Real Housewives Of New York City" for Zarin when cameras were seen filming outside of her husband Bobby's funeral. Then, weeks later, Zarin further fueled rumors when she reunited with her other former co-star, Ramona Singer, in Marrakech, Morocco. But is Zarin really returning to the Bravo TV reality series for its upcoming 10th season?
On February 9, Radar Online shed some light on Jill Zarin's potential future plans, revealing that the former reality star is actually considering a move out of the Big Apple.
While 54-year-old Zarin hasn't confirmed the possibility of an upcoming move publicly, the outlet claimed Zarin could head south to Boca Raton, Florida, where she already owns a home.
“Living in New York will just be too painful without [Bobby Zarin],” an insider explained. “[Jill] has a lot of friends in [Boca Raton], and thinks it would be a good fresh start.”
What has Jill Zarin been doing since the death of her husband?
After Bobby Zarin tragically lost his years-long battle with cancer in mid-January, Jill Zarin began traveling the world, first paying a visit to her daughter, Ally Shapiro, in London. Weeks prior, Shapiro was in New York City to attend the funeral of her stepfather. From there, Zarin traveled to Morocco with 20 of her friends, including former "Real Housewives of New York City" co-star Ramona Singer.
Once she returned to New York City, Zarin received a visit from Bethenny Frankel and her daughter, Bryn Casey Hoppy. On Tuesday night, Frankel appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" with Kyle Richards and spoke to Andy Cohen about her current relationship with Zarin, confirming that their latest interaction was "positive." Frankel also confirmed that Zarin's husband had told Zarin before he passed that it was her job to mend their relationship because she was the guilty party.
Jill Zarin was fired after season four
Following four seasons of starring on the show full-time, Zarin was released from her role, along with three other cast members, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop, and Kelly Bensimon. The women were replaced by Heather Thomson, Aviva Drescher, and Carole Radziwill for the following season.
"The Real Housewives of New York City" season 10 is expected to return to Bravo TV sometime later this year. The series currently includes Bethenny Frankel, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer.
