The latest "DOOL" news reveals that the character of Tate Black, the son of Brady Black and Theresa Donovan, has been recast. This could mean a lot of things for the NBC soap opera going forward.
A brand new Tate
According to the latest "Days of our Lives" spoilers, the character of Tate has been recast, and fans will soon see the new young actors who have been chosen to take over the role on their television screens.
Many "DOOL" fans are excited by the news of a Tate recast, only because it likely means that the character will be getting more screen time. If Tate is involved in the storyline more, it could mean that some big scenes between Tate, Brady, and even Theresa Donovan are coming. As many viewers already know, Theresa is headed back to Salem very soon, and when she returns she will find that life is very different than she left it.
As many "Days of our Lives" viewers will remember, Theresa left Salem in a heartbreaking way. A dangerous man from her past found her in Salem and began to threaten her fiance Brady and her son Tate. Theresa decided to help her father and the ISA get the man off the streets, but she had to make a huge sacrifice in order to do so.
Theresa was forced to lie to Brady and tell him that she no longer wanted to be a wife and mother. Theresa used the excuse to leave Salem behind in a way that Brady wouldn't come after her or question her. However, Theresa's departure took a toll on Brady. He began drinking again, and eventually fell in love with Nicole Walker.
Sadly, Nicole also broke his heart whens he revealed that she was in love with his brother, Eric.
Theresa's past coming back to haunt her?
Currently, Brady has been getting intimate with Theresa's older sister, Eve Donovan, and when Theresa returns to Salem she will find that the love of her life is in a relationship with her sister.
Things will likely get heated from there. Theresa may attempt to tell Brady the truth about why she left, although he might not believe her story. In addition, Tate's recast could mean that Theresa and Brady may enter a brutal custody battle over their son. Brady has been raising Tate on his own since Theresa left. However, "Days of our Lives" fans know that he has some problems with his anger and drinking. Sadly, Theresa skipping town so suddenly could reflect poorly on her unless she can prove she was working for the ISA.
