The Duggar family are in the news yet again and if someone told you it wasn’t for a good reason, would you be surprised? Probably not. Well, what happened here is that a cousin of the Duggar family (Amy King) decided to speak out against the family’s church for their questionable history. As hinted at before, this isn’t the first time that the family have been in the news for all the wrong reasons. For example, Joesph was recently targeted by fans, as some people online have accused him of bullying his wife Kendra, as he never let her speak in a video they did for TLC.

What did this cousin of the Duggar family have to say about the family’s church?
Amy King, who is a Duggar cousin, recently decided to speak out against the Duggar’s family’s church for their history and their religious values. This Family Member was raised differently from the way Jim-Bob and Michelle raised their kids, which means that like many people, she thinks that the family’s religion is a bit strange, to say the least. King decided to take to Twitter and give her stance on her family’s church by saying: “I do not support Bill Gothard and the Institute of Biblical Life Principles in any way, shape or form.”
In case you aren’t aware, Gothard is a minister at the church, and he has done some very questionable things in the past regarding his private life.
An instance of Gothard’s weird behavior would be when Gothard was hit with a $500,000 lawsuit for covering up abuse and harassment in the church. Ten women came forward to file the suit, and one of the women claimed that the minister actually assaulted her when she was just a young girl. King’s actual tweet is included below so you can see with your own eyes what she said.

The Duggar family have been very busy recently as it was just recently announced that the family’s TLC series “Counting On” has just been renewed for a new season.
With the news of the show’s renewal, many Duggar fans online have been speculating about what things the family will be doing this season. A few ideas that have been tossed around is the filming of Jinger announcing her pregnancy and what the fallout of the whole Derick Dillard and Jazz Jennings situation will be.
