If you have been following the brown family for a while, then you would know that the family just keep expanding. Kody’s daughter Mykelti Brown got married back in 2016 to Tony Padron. Padron is one of the newest members of the family, and there are some things that we don’t know about him. For example, we don't know much about his job, all we know is that he is a banker in St. George, UT but he has never actually talked about his career on camera. This has made some fans think that he is trying to squeeze as much money out of the family as possible, which is one of the reasons some Brown fans aren’t too fond of him.
Why do some Brown family fans not like Mykelti Brown’s husband, Tony Padron?
The main reason some fans aren’t too fond of Mykelti Brown’s husband, Tony Padron is because he can come across as a bit selfish and just a bit of a jerk. An example of this would be when he first asked Kody if he could marry his daughter Mykelti. When Kody was asked he seemed a bit hesitant as he was worried about paying for two back-to-back weddings. This was because his other daughter Maddie tied the knot around six months before Mykelti did. When Kody seemed hesitant about paying for the wedding, Padron said: “I really don’t know what he [Kody] means by, ‘It would clobber him.’ I guess financially — but there’s a way around that.
I mean you can get a loan against your house… and just pay it off. It’s called a home equity.”
As you can see that comment came across as a bit petty, but Padron has since won Brown fans over as he appears to be far nicer than he once was. To prove this at the wedding, Mykelti didn’t want wedding cake rubbed in her face even though it was a popular tradition in Padron’s family and he agreed with her, which shows that he is a lot less selfish than he once was.
