Over the weekend, after news broke of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's Encino home being robbed, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" husband and "Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles" guest star took to his Instagram page to talk about what happened. According to a report by Us Weekly magazine days ago, Umansky released a statement to his fans and followers on Saturday, December 30, addressing the recent robbery of his $8.2 million home.

As the magazine reminded readers, Kyle Richards' home was broken into on Wednesday, December 27, as she and her husband enjoyed a family vacation in Aspen, Colorado with their kids and other members of their family, including Kim Richards' daughter, Brooke Weiderhorn, and Richards' other niece, Paris Hilton.

Luckily, in addition to their family being far away from the crime when it happened, their dogs were also out of the house. That said, the robber or robbers did get away with over $1 million worth of jewelry, including $150,000 in watches.

During the robbery, the couple's home security system was reportedly turned off due to the ongoing renovations of the home. In addition, the surveillance cameras were turned off to allow contractors full access to the home.

What of Kyle Richards' was taken during her home robbery?

The magazine went on to say that Kyle Richards was also robbed of all of her jewelry, aside from what she had taken with her to Aspen, including a gold wedding band that was inscribed with the phrase “Mauricio forever.” Other items taken included several pricey purses, such as her Hermes Birkin and a Chanel bag.
