Jill and Derick Dillard's little boy Samuel's birth was kept pretty secret from the fans of "Counting On." They didn't post pictures right away and they never shared his birth on the show. There has been a lot of speculation about his birth and some fans even decided lately they think that because of his birth Jill Dillard can't have any more children. This hasn't been confirmed at all, but the fans have great reasons for this speculation.

What did this new picture reveal?

Derick Dillard actually posted pictures recently for his mom's birthday. In one picture, you can see Samuel when he was first born and he is hooked up to machines.

The fans never knew that there was something like this going on when he was born. Derick and Jill honestly were very quiet about his birth at first and then later revealed that she had to have a c-section. She had to have a c-section with both of her children.

In this picture, the baby had tubes coming out of his nose. One fan explained their thoughts about it and said, "That is a tube to suction fluid out of the lungs. When babies are born by C-section the fluid does not get pushed out by contractions. It is normal to have to get this out, not a complication. Happened with both my C-section babies.”

Details of Jill's births

Jill Duggar Dillard has two children and neither birth was easy. She was in labor for 70 hours with her first child and 40 hours with the second.

Both ended up being born via c-section. As of right now, it looks like both babies are very healthy, but there may have been some issues when they were born that they didn't tell the fans about and that is what is confusing.

The thing to remember is they never showed Samuel's birth on the show and they didn't share a lot of details.

Now because of how Derick Dillard wouldn't stop talking negatively about Jazz Jennings he won't be back on the show at all. More than likely the details will never come out and the fans will just have to wait and see if they share anything. Jill and Derick like to keep some stuff a mystery.

Are you shocked to hear that Samuel Dillard was hooked up to tubes when he was born?
