Could jax taylor and Brittany Cartwright be faking their relationship for the sake of their Bravo TV reality series, "Vanderpump Rules"? That's what a new report suggests.

“[Brittany Cartwright] is still trying to manage [Jax Taylor], but they are on the rocks right now,” a source revealed to Page Six on Wednesday, January 17. The insider even claimed that the reality stars weren't "fully" together at the moment, despite the fact that they are currently together in New York City, where Cartwright recently appeared on "Watch What Happens Live."

Where has Jax Taylor been hiding?

According to the report, Jax Taylor and his girlfriend of nearly three years have been in New York City for several days but have not been spotted together publicly.

Instead, Cartwright has been busy with her "Watch What Happens Live" appearance, where she was joined by friend and co-star Ariana Madix while Taylor has reportedly been staying holed up in their hotel room with their two dogs.

Are Bravo TV producers making relationship decisions for Jax and Brittany?

According to Page Six, sources have said that producers of "Vanderpump Rules" have allegedly forced Brittany Cartwright to stay with her cheating boyfriend and because of that, she and Taylor have reportedly been working on their relationship. However, in recent weeks, Taylor and Cartwright appear to be quite strong in their relationship.

As Page Six continues to suggest that Taylor and Cartwright aren't being honest with fans, the couple has been hinting at an impending marriage in a major way.

As some may have noticed, the reality stars traveled to Kentucky and visited The Castle Post, where Taylor claimed Cartwright wants to wed, in late December of last year. Cartwright was also seen wearing a suspicious ring on her finger during her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" on Monday night, and, during her appearance, host Andy Cohen questioned her about why her boyfriend was seemingly wearing a wedding band in his recent Instagram posts.

In response, Cartwright claimed Taylor was itching to get married.
