Quincy Jones said a mouthful in an interview with GQ magazine. The 84-year-old music mogul was comfortable talking about several topics. He even threw shade at some other musicians. People are talking about some of the things the well-known music producer and entrepreneur said.

Jones told GQ that he has no plans of slowing down even though he will turn 85 in March. He said he is looking forward to living until he is 110. He just might do so because of medical treatments he is getting six days each year at a hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. He declared that he is just getting started.

Jones mentioned seven topics that people can't stop talking about, some more than others.

1. Taylor Swift's music

Jones said the world needs more songs and not hooks. He accused the 28-year-old singer of not being a good songwriter. He doesn't consider Taylor Swift in the same category as other singers he has worked with such as Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Ray Charles. He insinuated that Swift doesn't put in the work to write a great song. The producer said he likes current artists Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Drake, Ludacris, Common, Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson because they put in the work to make great music.

2. His 22 girlfriends

Jones, who was married three times, admitted that he has 22 girlfriends all over the world.

He named the places where his young girlfriends live, and they all know about one another. He listed the places, including Cape Town, Cairo, Stockholm, Brazil, Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, Rio, and Shanghai. Jones says that the only stipulation that his daughters have is that he can't date anyone younger than they are. He has six daughters and one son.

Therefore, the women range in age from 28 to 42.

3. Marilyn Monroe

Jones claimed his friend Frank Sinatra tried to set him up with Marilyn Monroe, but he never dated her.

He cited that she had a chest that looked liked pears.

4. His race

Even though Jones has been very successful, he said his race played a role in how he was treated in some cases. He gave the example that Truman Capote tried to prevent him from providing the music for the film version of his book, "In Cold Blood" when he found out Jones was an African-American. Director Richard Brooks stood up for Jones, and the producer did provide the music and received an Oscar nomination for it.

5. Beef with Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur once called Jones disgusting because of his marriages and relationships with women of other races. The two musicians reconciled before the rapper was killed in September 1996. Shakur dated Jones' daughter Kidada, who was with him in Las Vegas when he was shot and killed.

6. Love for languages

Jones boasts about being able to speak 26 different languages and traveling all his life. The producer said learning languages just come naturally to him.

7. A 10-part biopic

Jones wants Donald Glover to play him in a 10-part television biopic that is in the works for a Netflix documentary when he turns 85 in March. His good friend Oprah Winfrey will host a television tribute to him on CBS.
