Although Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright claim to be working through their tumultuous issues, despite the fact that he cheated on her with one of her former friends, it may not actually be true.

Are Jax and Brittany together?

Rumors have been swirling that the "Vanderpump Rules" couple has been faking their relationship for publicity reasons and actually never got back together after Jax was exposed for sleeping with Faith Stowers. However, the 38-year-old SUR bartender may have slipped up and let the cat out of the bag.

Just this week, Jax commented on one of Brittany's old Instagram photos from August 18th, which was a photo of his girlfriend with her mom and another family member with the caption, "Family First," saying, "it was okay she went home with her ex that night."

The comment has since been deleted but not before her followers managed to screenshot the incriminating evidence.

Some people even wrote back to Jax calling him an "abusive boyfriend" and calling his accusation an "obvious lie."

This comment makes it seem like the couple is not on as good of terms as they claim to be during public appearances. Brittany's latest Instagram photo was captioned, "7 months have passed.. It's been tough but I'm trying to move forward not back. God Bless." She also removed the ability for her followers to comment on the image as if to say that she did not care to hear what other people had to say.

Brittany's "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Scheana Marie told Page Six that despite the advice all of her friends give her, "she doesn't take any of it." Basically saying that the rest of the ladies have "gotten to the point where it's just like look, you do you, it's your life."

Faith's claim to fame

Meanwhile, on Monday of this week, the night that "Vanderpump Rules" airs on Bravo, Faith Stowers posted on her Instagram story to share how she felt about what was going on.

Faith, who slept with Jax while she was supposed to be caring for an elderly woman who was in the same room, went off on Cartwright, criticising her for "threatening to stab" her but then "sleeping with cheating #JAX the day after he cheats."

She also directs her message at Brittany saying, "now you know you are no match for me stop it" and finishes off the message by hashtagging things like "#twisted" and "#snapoutofit" and then also tags E!

and E! News, as well as Bravo TV.

Faith Stowers recently told Us Weekly that their whole "affair" began after Jax started messaging her on Twitter "being really flirty" and "letting [her] know that he was interested." She even claimed that Taylor would sometimes be flirty with her in front of his girlfriend Brittany.

The former "Vanderpump Rules" castmate also claimed that Cartwright had invited her over to her and Jax's apartment for a threeway one night but that she declined.

He had reportedly contacted her the next day to let her know that she should not have left because he had "talked Brittany into" it.

Jax was also apparently telling Stowers that he and Brittany's relationship was not doing well and that there was "trouble in paradise."

Faith described the actual hook up as something that "happened so fast." She said that he had come over, grabbed her backside suggestively, and said that he had "been wanting this for a long time."
