Spoilers for "The Young and the Restless" indicate that Nick Newman will have a bleak holiday season. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the secret of Christian's paternity will be revealed, and Nick will know that Adam is his son's biological father. Chelsea will be ashamed because she kept the truth hidden about Sage's little boy, and Victor will have his final revenge on his firstborn. On Friday, the Newman patriarch gave Chelsea a veiled threat which caused her to panic. Viewers have known for over a year that this secret would eventually be revealed, and it looks like the time has come.

This also keeps the door open for an Adam Newman return.

Spoilers have been saying Adam is returning for a while

For almost all of 2017 various spoilers have reported that Adam Newman is returning to "The Young and the Restless." In the beginning, it was being reported that Michael Muhney would return to the role, but he has not confirmed this at all. Now for the past few weeks, spoilers have been indicating that a recast may take over the role. The fact that Victor mentioned Christian's paternity to a shocked Chelsea has only heightened the Adam Newman speculation.

Last week spoilers said that Chelsea was going to spot her supposed deceased spouse while in New Orleans with Billy, Phyllis, and Nick.

They all returned to Genoa City, and the only thing mentioned about the Crescent City is that the two couples were partners in crime and partners in something unnamed while there. It's always possible, however, that Chelsea may have a flashback at a later date of seeing someone who looked like Adam.

Victor will get his ultimate revenge on Nick

The truth about Sage's son will have to come to light sooner or later, and it can be done with or without Adam's return. This secret has been under wraps for far too long, and viewers want to see closure to the issue. On Friday, Victor implied to Chelsea that if she did not attend his Christmas party the truth may come out, and Nick may be hurt.

The look on her face was one of pure fright.

With spoilers saying Nick will have a bleak holiday, it looks like he will find out Christian is not his son within the next few weeks. Should Adam not return to "The Young and the Restless," it's possible Chelsea will become so stressed about keeping the secret she blurts it out before Victor can do any damage.
