According to the latest "Days of our Lives" spoilers and news, actor Tyler Christopher is coming to the soap in a new, mysterious role.
The actor's character has yet to be confirmed, but after a photo of an upcoming script was posted online, many fans believe that the actor will be playing a character named Stefan. These rumors excited fans, who believe that "DOOL" wouldn't name a character Stefan unless he was connected to the legendary Stefano DiMera in some way. This has sparked speculation that Tyler Christopher's character could be the next big villain on the soap opera, and fans are excitedly awaiting his arrival to find out what is in store for Salem.
The DiMera family legacy
As many "Days Of Our Lives" viewers know, the DiMera family has always been a huge presence in Salem. They are a counterpart to the town's most beloved and well-respected family, The Hortons.
In the past, DiMera villains have included Andre DiMera, EJ DiMera, and Kristen DiMera, with Stefano DiMera leading the way for his children. However, since Stefano and EJ's deaths, the family has been rather tame. Chad DiMera is a good guy, and his brother Andre has seemingly settled down as well. There really is no one to make the citizens of Salem fear what's around the corner.

Another DiMera causing trouble in Salem?
While nothing has been confirmed, many "Days of our Lives" fans are convinced that Tyler Christopher's character will be revealed as another long lost DiMera family member. When he comes to town in late December, he'll be sure to cause a scene and stir up some major drama for the people of Salem.
He'll seemingly be rolling into town with former "DOOL" bad girl, Vivian Alamain, and the pair are surely going to be up to no good. Fans are on the edge of their seats waiting to find out what kind of chaos the duo will cause in the new year, and which of the soap opera's beloved characters they will target.
