Catelynn Lowell announced she was going to rehab at the end of last week in an emotional and shocking Twitter post to her many fans and followers. Understandably, the reality star caught many, including one of her "Teen Mom OG" co-stars, completely off guard with her post.

During an interview with Radar Online on November 21, Debra Danielsen, the mother of Farrah Abraham, addressed the news of Lowell's stint in rehab, admitting that she was completely blindsided by Lowell's Twitter announcement last Friday. As she explained, she had just spent time with Lowell during a "Teen Mom" filming event in Los Angeles.

“[Catelynn Lowell] looked great," Debra Danielsen explained to the outlet, adding that the reality star looked beautiful and appeared to be thinner than she has in the past. Danielsen also said that Lowell, the wife of Tyler Baltierra, appeared to be “in a great place.”

Just weeks before Catelynn Lowell announced plans to enter treatment, Debra Danielsen witnessed her and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, interacting with one another and the rest of the MTV reality cast. “All of them were playing beer pong and other games," Abraham's mom revealed, adding that the cast also went through old photos of themselves during the filming session.

Catelynn Lowell was considering a third pregnancy before rehab

During her visit to Los Angeles weeks ago, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra were reportedly heard discussing adding another child to their family. As fans of the reality couple will recall, Lowell and Baliterra chose adoption for their oldest daughter, eight-year-old Carly, in 2009 as they filmed for "16 & Pregnant" and welcomed their two-year-old daughter, Novalee Reign, in 2015.

“I was expecting to see that [Catelynn] was pregnant,” Debra Danielsen said. According to the mother of Farrah Abraham, she was caught off guard by Lowell's rehab news and never anticipated that she would go through another depression. Danielsen also said that she was quite proud of Lowell for taking the necessary steps to get her mental health back in check.
