The latest updates and spoilers for "Legends of tomorrow" season 3 reveal new details for the show's midseason finale as the legends will fix a huge anachronism and they will face Damien Darhk's forces. The midseason finale also teased an interesting arc about Jefferson "Jax" Jackson and his actions will potentially change all of history.
"Arrow" star Stephen Amell revealed more details about the "Crisis on Earth X" crossover and how it will affect the Cw Network's" plans for future crossover episodes.
'Crisis on Earth X' to change crossover plans?
According to Stephen Amell, shooting "Crisis on Earth X" required some intense scheduling as he told Screenrant that the lessons learned from the crossover will likely inspire the producers and the CW Network to work on new storylines for future crossover plans.
"I think that if we're going to shoot it like a big four-hour movie, we have to board it like a big four-hour movie, Amell said. "We have to prioritize the schedules of the people that are going to work the most if that's me if that's Melissa, If that's Melissa Benoist, if that's Grant. It's going to change year over year based off of story."
The "Crisis on Earth X" crossover will feature the DC TV heroes going to war against the evil Earth X army for the fate of their world.
This evil army is led by the evil doppelgangers of Supergirl, Green Arrow, and The Flash. The massive crossover event also featured the wedding day of Barry Allen and Iris West.
The heroes are also joined by The Ray, Citizen Cold, and the rest of the Freedom Fighters to fight them as they travel to Earth X to save Iris, Kara, and Felicity Smoak.
The two-night crossover event will air on Monday 8 PM with "Supergirl" and "Arrow."It continues on Tuesday 8 PM with "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow."
Midseason finale plot
According to the CW Network, the legends will face Norse Vikings in the new world. They soon discovered that they are worshipping an ancient artifact as a god.
Sara Lance is forced to call the Time Bureau for back-up as Damien Darhk and his forces are marching towards their location.
The midseason plot also revealed that Jax's discovered a huge loophole that could potentially change history, but he is willing to take the risk. While it is unknown what kind of damage that loophole can do in history, comic book fans speculated that it could be related to the anachronism or the location of the show's main antagonist, Mallus.
Jax is looking for a solution to take out the Firestorm matrix inside of Professor Martin Stein's body in order for the latter to spend time with his family.
