When people think of controversy within the Duggar family, one of the first things that come to mind are Josh Duggar’s legal problems. You see, in the past, Josh has been accused of assaulting five different women, two of them were his own sisters, Jill and Jessa Duggar. He was also in the news for being a member of the Ashley Madison website, a site used by cheaters to have affairs against their significant others, which led to “19 Kids and Counting” being canceled by TLC. A report by blog Pop Culture reports that Josh has now completed counseling for his many issues, and below I’ll discuss its effect on the entire family

How is Josh Duggar doing after getting help?

As I mentioned above, Josh Duggar has now finished therapy for his many issues.

Now, the thing that people want to know is if the Duggar family member is actually doing well after completing his treatment. Well, a source close to Josh spoke to Radar Online and said: “He’s doing great.” The source further elaborated by saying “He’s really folding into the lifestyle that comes with a new baby. He seems to have made some serious changes in his life.” The source was then asked if Josh was still in therapy in which they answered simply with “No.”

Why was Josh Duggar in trouble in the first place?

Josh Duggar was not just in therapy, but Christian therapy, for again, not only being accused of assaulting five underage girls but also because he was a member of the infamous cheating website Ashley Madison.

After being accused of all of these things, Josh admitted he had a cheating and lust problem. A few months later, he entered a Christian rehab to help with his addiction. It is worth mentioning that as soon as Duggar left the Christian rehab, he then entered couple counseling with his wife, Anna Duggar. A statement from the couple about the marriage counseling was later given.

Here is a part of that statement: “It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. We are very thankful for God’s forgiveness.”

In other Josh Duggar news, he and his wife Anna Duggar just welcomed their fifth child, Mason, into their family. The couple is also the parents of four other children named Merideth, Mackynzie, Mi, heal and Marcus.

Josh is also not featured on the TLC reality show “Counting On” due to his controversies, but the rest of the older Duggar children are, so be sure to check it out. Derick Dillard is also a family member that will no longer appear on the show due to his transphobic remarks towards transgender TLC star Jazz Jennings.
