Is reality television celebrity Jill Duggar Dillard pregnant again? The star of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" and "Counting On" gave birth to her second child Samuel on July 8. But in a recent Duggar family post on Facebook, some fans saw a baby bump and that began an epic debate. Many insisted that Jill Dillard hasn't finished postpartum weight loss. But some unusual aspects make it look like more than just residual baby fat.
Jill Duggar shows belly fat or baby bump?
Not for the first time since giving birth to baby #2, folks are wondering if Jill is pregnant again.
At the wedding of Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell, the slender "Counting On" celebrity appeared with what looked like a baby bump. But that was only eight weeks or so after Jill welcomed her second. The Duggars' Oct. 31 post shows the 26-year-old daughter nearly five months postpartum with a tummy. Folks wondered if the Celebrities are following "19 Kids and Counting" Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's baby-a-year plan.
Duggar Facebook video sparks war
The "Counting On" fan who dared to ask if Jill and Derick Dillard were having another baby set off a storm of debate. Some heard fat-shaming and bashing of the celebrities. Others defended the "19 Kids and Counting" star, saying she was still recovering from the C-section.
Many chimed in with stories of how they never lost baby fat after giving birth. However, Jill Dillard is carrying weight high in her stomach, which made people think pregnancy, and not a stretched out stomach.
Why the Duggars' rapid-fire pregnancies?
In order to rack up "19 Kids and Counting," Michelle Duggar got pregnant quickly in succession.
The "Counting On" mega-mom uses no birth control and probably doesn't breastfeed for very long. Nursing can hold off ovulation a year or more. Ben Seewald and Jessa Duggar Seewald adopted that policy, having babies 14 months apart. Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband Austin Forsyth were barely married before conceiving. Only Jinger Duggar Vuolo is holding out on pregnancy.
What will Michelle say about Jill's "belly fat?"
So if Jill isn't with child, and isn't in a big hurry to shed baby fat, what will her mother say about that? Michelle Duggar is notorious for advising women to stay thin. The "19 Kids and Counting" mom says obesity or being overweight displeases God and husbands. The "Counting On" star hinted to Anna Duggar that her weight gain caused Josh Duggar to turn to adultery after pedophilia revelations. Folks have wondered if this led to eating disorder or anorexia behavior in the Reality TV family.
