The latest updates and spoilers for "Deadpool 2" reveal that popular X-Men villain, Nathaniel Essex a.k.a. Mister Sinister is the main antagonist of the sequel. 20th Century Fox released the teaser of the movie and Screenrant theorized that Mister Sinister will be responsible for the events of the story.
Cast member Stefan Kapicic teased Negasonic Teenage Warhead's character growth in the movie and how these changes help her become a better heroine in the "X-Men" film franchise.
Enter Sinister
According to Screenrant, the "Deadpool 2" teaser inadvertently revealed a clue of Mister Sinister's possible appearance, after the Bob Ross wearing Wade Wilson ruined his painting.
The random mess is speculated to be a person's face with black eyes and red background on his neck. leading to the conclusion that Wade is drawing Essex's face.
In the Marvel comics, Mister Sinister is an evil geneticist who has experimented on mutants from the shadows in order to create the perfect superpowered weapon. He had run-ins with the X-Men over the years and he is obsessed with finding the genetic keys of the Summers and Grey family bloodlines.
Mister Sinister is also responsible for Cable's birth as he created Jean Grey's clone, Madelyn Pryor to mate with Cyclops and their union sired the ultimate mutant weapon against his master, Apocalypse. The latter is also rumored to be the main villain of the live-action "X-Force" movie as Cable and Deadpool lead a task force consisting of the most dangerous mutants on earth.
Negasonic's growth
Colossus actor Stefan Kapacic revealed new details about Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the "Deadpool" sequel as he told The Hollywood Reporter that she is progressing as a character in the movie and she will be a whole "new level" of X-Man.
"She's progressing, as you can see. She is not my trainee," Kapacic said.
"She definitely has approached the new level of X-Men as you can see.
Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead helped Wade Wilson in the first movie in hopes of turning him into a "real" hero and join their team. The two heroes will return to help Wade and Cable on their new mission.
The sequel will feature the mutant mercenary, Domino, and the Mutant Response Division.
Vanessa, Weasel, Blind Al, and Dopinder are also returning to the movie to help Wade. There is also a rumor that Hope Summers will debut in the "X-Men" film franchise and she will have an important role in the "X-Force" movie.
