Twice, the popular nine-member K-pop Girl Group formed under JYP Entertainment continues to break records with their music. Just recently, their music video for "Likey" reached 70 million views on YouTube. Also, it has become the best music video for a K-Pop Girl group to reach such a milestone.

Congratulations on the new record!

According to numerous record keepers, especially those who keep up with K-pop records on YouTube, such as OneHallyu, Twice's latest music video, "Likey," reached 70 million views just 17 days and 9 hours after its release on October 30, 2017, at 6 p.m.

KST. The time it took for it to reach 70 million views is also a new record that breaks the one previously held by Black Pink's music video for "As If It's Your Last" at 25 days and 20 hours.

Overall, "Likey" has beaten their personal best for Twice in previous YouTube record categories pertaining to K-pop. It has earned the most views within its first 24 hours, a record originally held by their music video for "Knock Knock." It has also beaten their own personal records for reaching the 20 million, 30 million, 40 million, and 50 million marks in the fastest time possible, which was also originally held by "Knock Knock." However, it did not surpass Black Pink's "As If It's Your Last" until the 40 million views milestone.

That means Black Pink's video still holds the record time for a K-pop girl group's video to reach 20 million and 30 million, as well as the most views within the first 24 hours.

Breaking records is nothing new for Twice!

Twice breaking their own personal time record for a music video reaching 70 million views is worth celebrating, but it is technically nothing new.

Starting with K-pop music videos having the most views within its first 24 hours, "Likey" and "Knock Knock" are in the top five at number four and five respectively. If only girl groups were counted, they would take numbers two to four with "Likey," "Knock Knock," and "Signal."

At the fastest time to reach a viewership milestones for 20 million, 30 million, 40 million, 50 million, 75 million, 100 million, 150 million, and 200 million, there are either two or three Twice music videos in each category.

Finally, Twice is one of two K-pop acts and the only girl group to have a music video reach 250 million views with "TT." The only other K-pop act to have a music video surpass 250 million views is Big Bang.

Right now, Twice is busy winning trophies on show competitions as part of their post-release promotions for "Likey." It was also announced they will be performing at the 68th Kōhaku Uta Gassen, the top-rated, year-end musical show in Japan produced by NHK. They will be the first K-pop act within six years to perform at the show and the fourth K-pop act overall behind TVXQ, Kara, and Girls' Generation.
