The celebrity splits just keep on coming. The latest couple to announce their separation is reality star Barbie Blank and her hockey player husband, Sheldon Souray. The couple, who were married for over a year, appeared to be happy. They often gushed about each other via social media and were featured on the reality show "WAGS."

Their love story

Prior to becoming a star on "WAGS," Blank had established an impressive career for herself. Even though she was a wrestling fan, Blank showed no interest in stepping inside the ring. Instead, she focused a career in modeling.

It was during one of her modeling gigs, where she caught the attention of the WWE.

In 2006, she signed on with WWE, where she would be now known as Kelly Kelly. After spending some time in development, honing her wrestling skills, Kelly Kelly made her debut on ECW. Throughout her career, she won the Divas championship, served as a valet for The Miz and Mike Knox, and competed against women such as Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool.

After six years with the company, Blank left the WWE. Following the end of her wrestling career, Blank returned to modeling, where she found success. She appeared in numerous magazines, including "Maxim." Aside from her magazine shoots, she also started her own swimsuit calendar.

Meanwhile, Sheldon Souray was busy throwing a beatdown on the ice. Since 1997, he served as the defenceman for a number of hockey teams, including The Edmonton Oilers and the Anaheim Ducks. It was during the height of his career in 2011 when he met Barbie Blank.

The new couple quickly became the talk of the hockey and wrestling community.

Blank and Souray were often seen cheering each other on at live sporting events. The way they supported each other made fans fall in love with the couple.

In 2014, the couple became engaged after three years of dating. That following year, Blank signed on to the reality show "WAGS," where her relationship with Souray was chronicled.

They married in February 2016, with their wedding being shown on "WAGS." Following their wedding, they settled into a nice home life with Souray’s two daughters.

What's next for the couple?

While the news of the couple’s split shocked fans, many people saw it coming. In recent weeks, the model began deleting all of her husband’s photos from her social media accounts. Despite the suspicions, the split is still sad.

There’s no reason given for the separation. But with the new season of "WAGS" starting, the show is sure to address the issue. As for Blank and Souray, so far there seems to be no bad blood between the exes. Let’s hope this means the divorce will go amicably for the couple
