Two months after their legal separation, "Mom" star Anna Faris is revealing why her marriage with Chris Pratt did not work out. The 40-year old actress is releasing her memoir today and she has a few things to say about her failed marriage with bonafide Hollywood leading man, Pratt. According to Perez Hilton, Faris opened up about the many insecurities she felt when Pratt was paired on screen with the likes of Bryce Dallas Howard in "Jurassic World" and Aubrey Plaza in the TV comedy, "Parks and Recreation."
Faris called them "beautiful women," and explained that her publicist warned her that there will be paparazzi and stories about Pratt and his co-stars having an enjoyable time on set.
Faris admitted that it didn't bother her at first until the most shocking rumors surfaced: Pratt was allegedly cheating on Faris with his "Passengers" co-star, Jennifer Lawrence. Faris admitted that the rumors were "embarrassing" even if they were false because she would "still feel, and look, like a fool." She added that these insecurities also led her to feel "unsexy."
Anna Faris on why she feels 'unsexy'
Despite being a svelte, petite blonde, "Mom" star Anna Faris still has her "unsexy" moments. She wrote in her memoir "Unqualified" that "It can be hard not to have a moment of self-doubt when my husband is acting with young women in big movies and I'm playing a role in 'Mom' that, while I love it, is incredibly unsexy." This may read as something insensitive to her co-stars at "Mom," but Allison Janney has nothing but love and support for Faris following her split with ex-husband, Chris Pratt.
Actress on her relationship with Chris Pratt now
Following the breakup of Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, the pair has made it a point to speak nothing but good words about each other. It seems that it was an amicable split, given that there isn't any bad blood between them. In fact, Faris said during her visit to "Live With Kelly and Ryan" that she and Pratt are "great" and "amazing." She said that "We're great friends and we always will be." She stressed that "life is too short" to hold grudges and be angry, which is why they're most likely staying friends and remaining on good terms with each other, especially now that they have to co-parent one child separately. Meanwhile, Faris is releasing her memoir "Unqualified" today, as Pratt is gearing up to appear in next year's "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" and "Avengers: Infinity War."
