It seems like Anna Faris is getting cold feet—about publishing her "Unqualified" book, that is. The 40-year old actress recently opened up during her "Anna Faris is Unqualified" podcast, where she spoke out about her upcoming memoir due on bookshelves this October. In it, she talks about her marriage to "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World" actor Chris Pratt, who she separated from in August. Their announcement came as a shock to their fans and film and TV viewers who were familiar with their work. The pair had nothing but praises to say about each other in red carpet appearances and interviews, but the separation seemed inevitable.

Some have attributed Pratt's superstardom, given that he's the face of two major blockbusters right now. He was also previously linked to his "Passengers" co-star Jennifer Lawrence, with whom he reportedly had really good chemistry with.

Actress opens up about pre-release anxiety

Anna Faris' memoir, "Unqualified," hits bookshelves and retailers on October 24, and in it, she talks about her life as a "quiet kid with headgear" turned Hollywood actress, ET Online reported. The 40-year old shared that in her book, she'll also delve into personal issues about "how I haven't felt comfortable in my own skin."

She added, "I feel, in a sense, that I got to always hide behind characters, and now this is me and it feels a little scary." It's unsurprising that the actress would have the pre-release jitters, especially now that the general public knows about her separation with husband, Chris Pratt.

In fact, "Unqualified" will feature excerpts written by Pratt himself, wherein he praises her as a mother and wife. In it, he called her "fierce and very loyal."

Pair going through marriage counseling

Shortly after Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced that they were separating, PEOPLE reported that the pair were actually going through couples counseling.

A source told the media outlet that couples counseling "is what you do when you want to divorce and there are children involved" because "It won’t likely change the status but it could help with their future coparenting." The two are parents to five-year old Jack.

Hectic schedules put a strain in the marriage

The primary cause of the rift between Chris Pratt and Anna Faris is, allegedly, their demanding schedules.

Since Pratt is the leading star of both Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World," he's set to reprise his roles in future sequels. The time spent apart took a toll on the pair but according to PEOPLE's source, "There is still love between them." Revisit the sweet moments between Pratt and Faris below.
