"Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry has finally announced the name of her newborn son. The MTV reality star has taken her sweet time finding the perfect name for her third son, and nearly two months after his birth, Kail is finally spilling the beans about what she has decided to name him. The mother-of-three officially announced, via her Instagram account on Monday, that she had named her baby boy Lux Russell, but did not reveal what the child's official last name was. It could be Lowry after her, or it could be Lopez, after his father, Chris Lopez.

According to Kailyn Lowry's Instagram post, baby Lux Russell was born on August 5 and weighed in at seven pounds and 15 ounces. Kail says that her baby boy was born at 3 a.m. "on the dot" and that it took her seven weeks to decide on what the sweet little boy should be named, and eight weeks to file the paperwork and make it official. During this time when the baby had no name, the "Teen Mom 2" star had been calling her son, "Baby Lo." Kail did not reveal if there was any meaning behind the name Lux Russell, or if she chose it for a special reason.
Kail's recent controversies
While Kailyn Lowry's baby name struggles have been a source of drama for the "Teen Mom 2" star, the mom of three is no stranger to controversy.
In the past couple of years Kail has fought off criticism for divorcing her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, and allegedly cheating on him while he was deployed with the Air Force. She also shocked fans when she announced that she was pregnant with her third child, and that Javi was not the father. Fans speculated for months about the identity of Kailyn's third baby daddy could before the reality star snapped and finally revealed that the father was her former boyfriend, Chris Lopez.
She's not letting anything stop her
Most recently, the "Teen Mom 2" mother took heat for allegedly entering a new romantic relationship with a woman, as fans not only criticized Kail for dating a woman, but dating anyone at all so soon after the birth of her third child. However, Lowry has kept her head held high and is working towards her dreams.
She recently graduated from college and has been working on new ideas for new television show opportunities which she plans to pitch in the near future.
It appears that Kailyn Lowry isn't letting any obstacle stop her from what she really wants to do, or how she wants to live her life. Some "Teen Mom 2" fans have spoken out in admiration of the young mother, while other have criticized her for her recent life choices. However, Lowry is seemingly un-phased by the heat she's been taking, and continues to build a life for herself and her three sons, Isaac Elliot, Lincoln Marshall, and Lux Russell.
