According to TMZ, Tamar Braxton filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert on Tuesday, October 24 after nearly nine years of marriage. The divorce papers were filed in Los Angeles County just one month before their next anniversary. No details have not been revealed yet, so it is unknown what Tamar is seeking. There is no doubt more information will come out about the divorce in the next few days.

Toni Braxton, the oldest Braxton sister, introduced Vincent to Tamar, the youngest Braxton sister, in 2003. They have been married since November 27, 2008.

The singer and her record executive husband have one child together, four-year-old son, Logan. This will be Tamar's second divorce. She divorced her first husband after two years of marriage in 2003 just before she met Vincent in 2003.

Rumors denied

Tamar has denied rumors about her troubled marriage for over a year. On August 21, 2016, the Atlanta police had to be called when the couple was involved in a domestic dispute in a hotel in the city. Vincent allegedly bit his wife's hand during the altercation. A 911 call confirmed that actually happened and was not merely a rumor. Tamar needed stitches, but her husband was not arrested or charged with a crime. They stayed together after that incident, but the relationship had been going downhill since then.

However, Tamar recently moved out of the house.

Even though fans are saddened to hear about the divorce, they are not surprised. The divorce comes after many rumors of marital trouble; however, Tamar has denied all them. There were rumors that Vincent has a secret child which Tamar denied. There were rumors that Vincent cheated and Tamar cheated.

Besides, both of them have been facing health issues. All of that happened around the same time as the couple put their Calabasas house up for sale for $15 million. In 2013, Herbert was sued for owing Sony record label more than $3 million.

Tamar's music

Tamar recently released her "Bluebird of Happiness" album. She said it would be her last one so she could focus on her marriage and spend more time with her family.

Tamar and Vincent worked together since both of them are in the music industry. The breakup of their marriage might have a big impact on their careers.

The breaking news was reported on "The Real" where Tamar was once a co-host. Loni Love sent love and support for her former co-worker and her family. Vincent was one of the producers of the show at the time when Tamar was employed.

This information comes just two days after co-host Jeannie Mai announced on the show that she is getting a divorce after 10 years of marriage. Jeannie made a statement that she knows what Tamar must be going through.
