Shannon Beador has really been through it in season 12 of "The Real Housewives of orange county" with all of her heartache and self image problems. A new photo she posted on Instagram following the reunion has everyone talking. The 53-year-old is already looking great after news came that she's divorcing her husband of 17 years, David Beador. Evidently, it's just what she needs to get back on track in her life.
Shannon's new look
On Sunday, Shannon Beador posted a photo of her posing with two ladies of her makeup team. She looked slim in a black dress and high heels as she stood flanked by her glam squad.
The "RHOC" star thanked them for the "continual touch-ups on a very emotional day."
Fans are commenting on how "amazing" Shannon is looking, which is far slimmer than what they're currently viewing on television. Shannon also looks happy and no doubt has a new lease on life since deciding to leave her husband. Many of the comments are full of support and love for the embattled reality star, with some telling her that much better things are ahead for her.
Shannon also thanked her cast mates and fans for their support during this time. As previously reported in spoilers for the "RHOC" reunion, Shannon apologizes to the other women for defending David on the show this season. The Beadors were struggling to keep their marriage intact and in doing so, it caused friction in other relationships for Shannon.
She was on the defense often and was easily thrown into a rage anytime someone said something she didn't like. It was especially true when it came to Peggy Sulahian asking Shannon if she can trust David in a recent episode.
Revenge body to come?
Don't be surprised to see a new side of Shannon following her split from David. Her whole identity has been wrapped up in what her husband thinks and she's been open about not getting overcoming the fact that he cheated on her.
Despite insecurities she suffered over her weight gain, she was unable to get in control of her situation. When she did try eating healthy at home, she was met with hostility instead. David would sabotage her attempts by eating whatever he wanted and making unnecessary comments to her. Overall, it was a toxic environment for Shannon, as viewers have witnessed throughout season 12.
Will Shannon Beador get her revenge body now that she's divorcing David? It's a common occurrence in nasty splits, especially if the woman was overweight. Shannon will surely find the strength to attain her goals now that she can move forward, and one of her goals has been to lose the 40 pounds she gained last year. It looks like she's already made a lot of progress!
