According to Just Jared, the "Outlander" stars were spotted rubbing elbows with the events manager of World Child Cancer, Lisa Fernandes at the Cocktail Party Fundraiser held over the weekend. Aside from Lisa Fernandes, Heughan and Balfe were also seen chatting with the CEO of Cahonas Scotland, Ritchie Marshall. The Cocktail Party Fundraiser aimed to hit two birds with one stone, or in this case, two charities with one event.
The World Child Cancer aims to give each child an equal access and opportunity to the best cancer treatment and care. Meanwhile, Cahonas Scotland aims to raise awareness about male cancer and promote early detections.
Fans of Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan appreciated the philanthropic deeds of the "Outlander" stars, who, despite their busy schedule, graciously made time to attend such charitable events.
