“Rick and Morty” is one of the most famous animated TV series in the US. The show also has a huge fan following across the world. Season 3 of the show concluded on Sunday, 1 October. Right at the beginning of the latest season, Rick had expressed his wish to taste Mcdonald’s limited edition Szechuan McNugget Dipping Sauce. In reality, this sauce has long vanished. Last time the food-chain offered this dipping was back in 1998.
The show-creator, Jack Roiland attempted sending McDonald’s a message through his famous show, “Rick and Morty.” It turns out that the fast-food chain is going to fulfill his wishes.
According to a report by Den of Geek, McDonald's posted a special “Szechuan Sauce” poster on its official website a few days back. The poster consists of a very space-like background and has little aliens located all over it. This is, therefore, assumed to be a direct collaboration with the Rick (and Morty) show. Whether it is deliberate or not, is something that remains unclear at this moment.
McDonald’s is preparing for the launch of its “Buttermilk Crispy Tenders.” They are using this mysterious “Signature Sauce” as a ploy to get its customers interested. The sauce is expected to be available for tasting, starting 7th October. However, the sauce won’t be available at all the locations. Interested readers can check out McDonald’s official website to see which locations will consist of this item.
'Rick and Morty' season 4
According to a report by The Independent, Adult Swim took to Twitter on Monday, 2nd October to officially announce “Rick and Morty” season 4. The tweet reads, “See you for season 4 in like a really long time.” The fans have a long time to wait until the fourth season churns out.
Dan Harmon suggests season 4 will have as many as 14 episodes
The show’s co-creator, Dan Harmon even suggested in an interview that the fourth season might consist of 14 episodes instead of 10. He had said that they have been toying with the idea of making additional episodes for long. In fact, the show’s third season was supposed to consist of 14 episodes.
But the cast and crew members of “Rick and Morty” just weren’t ready for it, he added. Therefore, he feels that the team members need to prepare themselves for it first.
The launch-date for “Rick and Morty’s” next-installment is not known yet. It might be postponed until 2019, which is a long time away - considering the show creator’s reputation.
