With a new album that just came out, Pink has been appearing on a number of shows and interviews lately to promote her latest project. In her recent appearance at a certain Bravo late-night talk show, the American singer-songwriter opened up about her past, specifically about her former feud with pop singer Christina Aguilera.

Pink, stylized as P!nk, is a veteran singer who kicked off her music career in 1995, but it wasn’t until in 2000 when she released her first solo album that she rose to popularity. The singer immediately got recognized for her powerful songs and gained further recognition when she sang “Lady Marmalade,” one of the tracks for the movie, “Moulin Rouge!”

Pink and Christina Aguilera’s past feud

“Lady Marmalade” is no doubt a very popular song that countless artists have recorded their own versions of it.

In 2001, Pink collaborated with Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, and Mya for another version of the Bob Crew and Kenny Nolan song for the aforementioned movie that starred Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

When Pink made her solo debut, she was up against tons of artists and was always compared to Christina, Britney Spears, and Jessica Simpson, who dominated the music scene in the early 2000s. It’s vague as to how and when exactly the feud between Pink and Christina happened but the former did mention that it occurred back when they were new to the music industry, still young and too ambitious.

In her recent appearance on “What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Pink revealed that there was even a time that things got physical between them.

The “You Make Me Sick” singer said Christina swung at her at a club, which she actually found hilarious.

Pink makes amends

Pink reportedly reconciled with the “Dirrty” singer so all is well now with the two of them. She commended Christina for being a talented artist and also revealed that the two of them actually made up on the reality show, “The Voice.”

Pink explains that the two of them haven’t seen each other for years and that becoming moms also made them realize that their past feud was something petty and should simply be a thing of the past.

Things continue to go well for Pink as she just released her latest studio album, Beautiful Trauma on October 13.

“Beautiful Trauma” consists of 13 new tracks including “What About Us,” which was released early on August 10. The new album has topped music charts in the United Kingdom and has already sold over 70,000 copies in its first week.
