kelly dodd and her husband, Michael Dodd, are calling it quits on their troubled marriage and according to a new report, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" stars may be headed for a Custody Battle. While Dodd has not yet confirmed her plans for a custody arrangement for her daughter, Jolie, things between herself and her now-estranged husband could get heated if they end up in court.

On October 2, Radar Online shared a report in which it was revealed that Michael Dodd had allegedly attempted to battle his longtime partner for custody during a previous split from the reality star.

As an insider explained, the ex-couple couple be headed for a custody battle, and if they do, it will surely be hard on their daughter, especially considering the couple recently sold the house she's been living in for the past several years.

Kelly Dodd confirmed her plans for divorce last week

On September 27, Dodd, who first joined the Bravo reality show during its 11th season, told the press that she was officially done with her marriage to Michael. As she explained at the time, Dodd said, “We’ve had problems for years, and I’ve had enough.”

As fans may recall, Kelly Dodd first filed for divorce from Michael in 2012, but because their case was drawn out and they were unable to find a resolution, she ultimately decided to stay married.

Now, after leaving Michael for the second time, Dodd is hoping her attorney can file a motion for a bifurcated divorce.

At the time of Dodd's first divorce filing, she requested $41,666 in child support and spousal support. A short time later, Michael fired back, claiming that he was left as Jolie's primary caregiver after his wife allegedly ditched the child to go party.

During an episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 11, Dodd was seen speaking to her co-stars about her marriage and, at the time, she said that she was committed to making her relationship with Michael work, despite their many hardships. As she explained, it is easier to be with Michael and have her family together than it would be if they were to divorce.
