Katy Perry celebrated her 33rd birthday on October 25. She posted a tweet sharing how she planned to celebrate this special day in her life.

“Happy new year for me... gonna make this one an even more powerful and transformative one,” Perry posted on Twitter. After writing her age, she also included a hashtag that read “Jupiter In Scorpio.” This significant astrological phenomenon marks the time when Scorpios are encouraged to pursue their aspirations with more conviction than before.

This astrological prediction is very relevant in the way her music career has been moving in the past couple of months.

After the release of her latest album “Witness,” she is currently doing a series of concert tours under the same name and traveling around the world.

She has just finished her concert at United Center in Chicago on October 24 and October 25. She will head to Kansas City and Toronto before the month of November starts. After that, she will visit Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Tulsa, Des Moines, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Atlanta, and Orlando.

Before the year ends, she will cap off her performance at American Airlines Arena in Miami on December 20. Then, she will begin the New Year with a performance at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

In May 2018, she will launch the second leg of her “Witness” tour in Europe.

Among the countries she will be visiting include Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Denmark, and Sweden.

Aside from her concert, she also released a star-studded feature which aired on YouTube Red earlier this month.

The project was titled “Katy Perry: Will You Be My Witness?" and took fans to a behind-the-scenes look at some of her major projects. She also live-streamed her daily activities for four days and 24 hours a day as she stayed inside a house.

On her 33rd birthday, many of her closest friends in the industry greeted her via Twitter.

Among these included Niall Horan and Ellen DeGeneres.

In fact, even UNICEF greeted her on her special day. They tweeted, “Happy birthday to our Goodwill Ambassador @katyperry. Thanks for shining a light on our work for children around the world.”

Some of her friends also surprised her the minute she woke up on her birthday. They showered her with confetti and partied inside her hotel room, Daily Mail Online reported. The videos were posted on her social media account showing her friends laughing as they surprised her to the beat of “In Da Club” by 50 Cent.
