Actor Justin Hartley and actress Chrishell Stause got married on Saturday, October 28, 2017. The couple met on the set of "The Young and the Restless" four years ago. They dated for three years before they were engaged last year.

The 40-year-old groom has the starring role of Kevin Pearson on the NBC hit drama "This Is Us." He gave up his job on "The Young and the Restless" to be in the series that is now in its second season. At the time, he had no idea that the drama would become so popular. He took a chance by giving up his position that he had for two years.

So far, it is working out for Hartley and the other actors.

The Wedding

The 36-year-old bride is better known for her roles as Amanda Dillon on "All My Children" and Jordan Ridgeway on "Days of Our Lives." The wedding was very emotional, as the bride and groom exchanged handwritten vows in front of family and friends who were there to witness the happy occasion. Stause looked gorgeous in a Monique Lhuillier dress.

She was thrilled to share on her Twitter account that she has changed her last name to Hartley after getting married in an intimate and romantic outdoor ceremony. She also spoke highly of her new husband in a post by saying that there is no one like him. She said their wedding turned out to be much more than she could have imagined.

Most of Justin's co-stars attended the wedding to see him tie the knot. They included his television parents, Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia. His sister, Chrissy Metz, and her television fiancé, Chris Sullivan, were there, and Justin's brother Sterling K. Brown and his television wife Susan Watkins were there too.

They all supported Justin just like the family supports each other on "This Is Us."

About the couple

This is Justin's second marriage. He was married to Lindsay Korman from 2004 to 2012. She is also a soap opera star who was on "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives." They have a 13-year-old daughter together named Isabella Justice Hartley.

This is Chrishell's first marriage. The origin of her name is very unique. When her mother was in labor at a “Shell” gas station, the attendant named “Chris” called for help. Her mother was so thankful, she named her daughter “Chrishell” to pay tribute to the gas station and to the attendant.

Justin and Chrishell have a lot in common. They are both in the acting profession, and they both have spent most of their acting careers as soap opera characters. Fans are wishing them congratulations on social media.
