Jeremy Vuolo, the young pastor who married Jinger Duggar Vuolo, may be more liberal than some of Jinger's relatives in that he permits her to wear pants and watch movies, but that doesn't mean he is anymore liberal than his in-laws when it comes to the LGBT community. Jeremy was recently slammed for using social media to criticize other pastors who are considering performing same-sex weddings and for saying that the Duggar Family should be more vocal about their beliefs against the LGBT community. His recent sermon that was posted to YouTube is partially the reason Jeremy has landed himself in hot water.

Jeremy's sermon against the LGBT community

Jeremy's controversial sermon was posted to YouTube, where he ripped apart the LGBT community.

"All you have to do is look at the sexual revolution pressuring them, and they cave in to a worldview that rejects God’s truth and embraces popular opinion."

The sermon, which took place at Grace Community Church Laredo, went on to state that Jeremy and Jinger consider homosexuality false love. He also used the analogy of a gun, comparing sticking to his moral convictions the same thing as seeing a gun that no one wants to see, and eschewed the "modern" thought that is prevailing in our culture.

According to Jeremy, it is not loving to allow two men or two women to enter into a relationship together, but rather it is more loving to point them toward a traditional marriage with a man and a woman.

Other scandals for Jeremy and Jinger

Despite Jeremy's objection to the LGBT community, the pair have been dubbed the "rebellious" and liberal couple when compared to Jinger's siblings. When growing up in the Duggar family, Jinger was not allowed to wear pants or anything but a long skirt or dress and modest top. Now that she has gotten married, the young bride has decided to switch up her wardrobe and wear shorts and pants every now and then.

She has even incorporated sleeveless dresses into her rotation, though none of her wardrobe is what anyone would consider to be "shocking."

Jinger and Jeremy are also the only couple in Jinger's family to get married and not announce a pregnancy three months after tying the knot. Although Jinger's sisters have pressured her via Skype to see if she is currently carrying, the daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar has gone 11 months without a pregnancy announcement. Instead, the couple is focusing on enjoying their time together.
