jax taylor and Brittany Cartwright are reportedly starting fresh after a dramatic first season of their Bravo Tv spinoff series, "Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky." While the SUR Restaurant bartender and his girlfriend of two and a half years faced hardships throughout filming on the debut season of their reality show, things between them appear to be going well at the moment and during a new interview, Taylor said that he was hoping to start over with Cartwright once they returned home to Los Angeles from her hometown in Kentucky.
“We’re still happy, and we’re still together,” Taylor told The Daily Dish, according to a report by the Celebrity Insider on October 2. “When [Brittany] came home it was kind of like [we can] start fresh, clean slate, start over.”
Taylor and Cartwright began dating in early 2015. As fans of "Vanderpump Rules" will recall, the couple initially met one another in Las Vegas and quickly moved in together once Cartwright traveled to Los Angeles from Kentucky to heat things up with the former playboy.
Brittany Cartwright wants to get married
During the fourth season of "Vanderpump Rules," Brittany Cartwright made it clear that while Jax Taylor was hesitant about the idea of marriage, she wanted to one day get married and start a family.
Since then, Taylor has seemingly warmed up to the idea of a future marriage and during the first episode of "Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky," he was seen shopping for a ring.

Earlier this year, Brittany Cartwright was seen sporting a pear-shaped diamond ring that many believed was an engagement ring.
Then, months later, as she and Jax Taylor promoted the first season of their reality series, Cartwright was seen with what appeared to be the same ring again. That said, the couple has maintained silence in regard to a possible engagement and many fans believe that the couple shared images of the ring on social media in an effort to drum up speculation and capture interest and viewers for their new Bravo TV reality series.
