James Cameron’s “Avatar 2 has officially started shooting on September 25, and the director has finally revealed the Cast Members who will play the roles of the next generation of children. The young troupe of seven includes Britain Dalton, Jamie Flatters, Filip Geljo, Bailey Bass, Jack Champion, Trinity Bliss, and Duane Evans Jr. They will reportedly play the roles of Sully children (three offspring of the characters played by Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana) and young members of Metkayina Na’vi clan, who reside on the Ocean under the rule of Tonowari (Cliff Curtis).

Introducing the seven young cast members

According to Hollywood Reporter, the three children of Sully family include the eldest son Neteyam (played by Jamie Flatters), the second child Lo'a (played by Britain Dalton), and the youngest one Tuktirey (played by Trinity Bliss). The three members of Metkayina Na’vi clan include Tsireya (played by Bailey Bass) who is a skilled free diver, Rotxo (played by Duane Evans Jr.) who is a hunter and free diver, and Aonung (played by Filip Geljo), who is not only a hunter and free diver, but also the son of their clan leader Olo'eyktan. Jack Champion, however, is playing the role of a human teenager, Javier "Spider" Socorro. “Spider” was born in Pandora’s Hell Gate facility and is interested in studying the nature of the planet.

What to expect from 'Avatar 2?'

Over the years, the writer and director of the 20th Century Fox film, James Cameron, has delighted the audiences with two of the highest grossing films of all time, “Titanic” and “Avatar.” Thereafter, he has been working devotedly on the four sequels of “Avatar.” With a combined budget of $1 billion, the second and third installments of the film will be reportedly filmed simultaneously, and the fourth and fifth installments will also be shot in the same manner later on.

Each film will have an estimated budget of $250 to $300 million.

Jon Landau, the producer of “Avatar 2,” reveals that the movie will introduce a shift in focus from the original theme, as the second installment will add a vibration to the film and will mute the critics. “They represent the future generation of Pandora and play a very significant role — not just in this movie but throughout all the movies,” he added.

Avatar 2” is set to hit the theaters on December 18, 2020. Thereafter, the next installments will be released one after another following the "two and two structure" of shooting.
